So on Monday, me and brother watched a few documentaries on netflix. One was this documentary about life at the Black Bear commune in New York. Very interesting.
After seeing this I had some questions/comments about the proposed commune we have discussed from time to time:1) It isn't going to be one of those walk around naked communes, right? I'm really not thrilled at the prospect of -no offense-seeing everyone naked (awkward) nor would I think anyone would want to see my naked ass walking around.
2) The commune in the movie practiced free love...uh...yeah...I would like to think I could handle that but part of me thinks I'm not that evolved.
Also, at the end of the movie, they mention that the land they were on would remain communal land in perpetuity. Meaning that anyone can use it, without purchasing it. Might be worth looking into....
